Australian Handler Contestants

Each contestants have supplied a biography, get to know them below!

Huw

Huw is a Handler who is always a moment away from offering a treat, a hug, scritches, or a word of praise, (with consent, don’t say you weren’t warned). He currently directs a large amount of his passion and time towards SA-PAH, and anyone else in the wider queer and kink/fetish community who comes across his path. It has been his honour to serve on the SA-PAH Committee in the last two years and he looks forward to many more.

Huw believes in providing safe spaces for passionate expression, both socially and sexually, enjoys exploring new kinks, and will always make time for Pups and other Handlers if they need a chat or other support (e.g. coloured lube), whether at the pub, the local sauna, or anywhere else.

Huw can be found in his downtime reading a good sci-fi/fantasy novel, playing Magic: The Gathering, op-shopping for leathers, and catching up with his family, The House of Axwell After Dark.

Kitty Katastrophy

Kitty Katastrophy is a fun and feisty queer woman of colour with over 15 years in the kink community, where she has become a passionate advocate for education, inclusivity, and representation. First stepping into pet play in 2009, Kitty has since grown into a respected educator, event producer, and community leader. Kitty is known for her engaging teaching style and grounded approach; blending her lived experience, healthcare background, and love of collaboration to help uplift others. Kitty continues to champion joy, diversity, and integrity in every corner of the communities she loves.

Cobalt

Awwwrrooooo! Hello hello, I'm Cobalt! Like the metal I'm magnetic and stay strong when the heat is on. By day I can be found operating as an indigenous banking specialist by the name of Tony and by night you'll see me getting up to all sorts of shenanigans. I'm a Victorian pup born and bred, currently residing in Naarm. I love having a good ol' time, making lots of friends, exploring new places and camping with nature. I feel love and respect is the backbone of our community and I want to share my love and joy with the world.

Lycan

Hello and Awooo!! My names pup Lycan, I’m from Naarm/ Melbourne and I just like to have fun and be a good pup! I travel a fair bit and always up for general chaos! Let’s vibe!

Lycan's pup journey started at APHC in 2022 as their first entry into kink and spent the next two years meeting people, who love kink in all aspects of leather, rubber and pup. Lycan has traveled to kink events ie geard, pawd, qphc, laird leatherman, vic bears, aus leather, slick, and back to APHC!! And made great connections and grown as a pup and person.

Blitzie

My name is Blitzie, some call me Blitz for short. I am known as the lightning pup, dashed with lightning bolts, and bright colours, representing my energy and spirit, yet having that spark that is fuelled for my passion of pup play. I do have a tendency of sinking into head space even by accident sometimes, but I see that as part of my charm, and one of my favourite things as a pup is being true myself. Having a friendly nature and being a little nerdy is all part of my charm.

Axel

Axel has been part of the local Pet Play community since February 2022. Regularly volunteering for VicPAH and other kink events in Naarm. As a trans, indigenous and disabled person, Axel strives to make the Pet Play community a safe and welcoming place for all. Advocating for gender inclusive events and making sure marginalised prices are heard.

Leo

Leo's a leather boy service pup from Newcastle, NSW, who embraces his chaotic but loving nature. Leo's journey into pup was through the leather community, inspired by his love of its history and via the support of a friend who encouraged him to embrace himself. Leo thrives on affection, enjoying boops, scratches and kisses. Generally you can find Leo at the gym, pursuing his nursing degree, or simply being a good boy. As a pup, Leo believes in the celebration of individuality. He stands for acceptance, loyalty, and a dash of spice, believing everyone should be celebrated for who they are.

Chase

Representing South Australia in vibrant orange and green, Pup Chase is throwing his collar into the ring—wagging at the chance to bring home the sash! Championing inclusivity, accessibility, and joyful exploration, he’s about breaking barriers and building connections—whether at kink events, queer spaces, or community gatherings.

Described as a “teddy-bear coded gym bunny” and a “queer vanilla puppy,” he’s equal parts high-octane energy and grounding presence—offering safe harbour amidst canine chaos. Puppy play has helped him embrace authenticity, navigate his autism diagnosis, and collar his journey with curiosity, optimism, mischief…and just the right amount of puppy-dog eyes.
